System TM’s automated optimizing cross-cut line consisting of rip saw, followed by infeed to scanner, and material handling solution for transfer of work pieces to two Opti-Kap 4003 optimizing cross-cut saws. After cross-cutting the work pieces are sorted out and stacked by 11 Opti-Stack 3000 stacking machines. Work piece lengths from 380 mm to 3000 mm (15 to 10) are stacked automatically and longer lengths can be stacked manually. Production:glue panel, furniture and flooring components Wood specie: beech and oak Workpiece dimensions: 20 mm x 50 mm (3/4 x 2), 40 mm x 150 mm (1 9/16 x 5) Incoming lengths: 1800 mm to 3600 mm (6 to 12) Number of operators: 2 Capacity per shift at 100% uptime: 57000 linear meters/shift (186500 linear feet/shift) Capacity per shift at 80% uptime: 47000 linear meters/shift (154000 linear feet/shift)

The River System is an expandable multi-shelf tower sheet metal handling system that stores, accesses and maintains inventory of your raw material. This specific example is a 96 shelf system with 12 shelves per bay with 8 bays. This customer cuts as many as 50 different types and thickness of material per day.
